CAR: Republic Day celebrations December 1

CAR will hold Republic Day celebrations on Saturday, December 1, to celebrate the country's 60th anniversary. Events will be held nationwide, with the largest celebrations taking place in Bangui. Business and traffic disruptions are possible throughout the country during the holiday.

In general, a number of Western governments advise their citizens against travel to most of the east of the country for various security reasons, including the presence of armed groups.
