On Thursday, November 15, the Ver.di labor union representing employees at the Eurowings airline threatened to organize a strike following a series of failed negotiations with airline officials regarding a collective bargaining conflict. Union representatives have threatened to strike in the near-term, although, as of November 17, it is unclear when the work stoppage is expected to take place.
