Activists affiliated with several groups, such as the Initiative for Democracy and Diversity (Initiative fur Demokratie und Vielfalt), plan to or are protesting in several urban centers on April 27.
Participants will gather at the following locations and times:
Gelnhausen: Obermarkt from 14:00
Gehrden: Marktplatz from 12:00
Wuppertal: Laurentiusplatz from 13:00
Weil am Rhein: Rathausplatz from 14:00
Heightened security and localized transport disruptions are likely near the protest sites. Though unlikely, low-level confrontations between demonstrators and law enforcement officers or frustrated motorists cannot be ruled out.
Avoid the affected areas as a standard precaution. Allow additional time if traveling near the protest site. Strictly heed all instructions from law enforcement officers. Immediately depart the area at the first sign that any security disturbance may occur.
