Intelligence Alert: Hurricane Michael

Hurricane Michael, now a category 4 storm, is expected to make landfall mid-day October 10 as it approaches the Florida panhandle. Regardless of where the eye comes ashore, Hurricane Michael will be large and product adverse and potentially life-threatening weather conditions in much of the eastern Gulf Coast region, including Florida and Alabama, and extend into the southeastern U.S., including Georgia and Carolinas. Travelers should anticipate extensive flight disruptions in the southeaster U.S. through at least October 12.

Intelligence Alert: Typhoon Trami

Typhoon Trami, the second major storm to develop in less than two weeks, is currently spinning in the Philippine Sea. Categorized as a super typhoon for a short period of time, it’s since been downgraded with maximum sustained winds of 165 kph (100mph). The region is still recovering from Super Typhoon Mangkhut, which killed more than 100 people.
