A car ramming was reported shortly after 10:00 (local time) on Tuesday, August 21, in the capital Dublin. A car was driven into the gates of the Government Buildings complex - home to the Prime Minister’s Office, the Department of Finance, and the Office of the Attorney General - on Merrion Street, causing damage but injuring no one. The driver was arrested at the scene on criminal charges.
