Italy: Public bus, tram, and subway workers to strike nationwide on May 2

The Faisa-Confail union has called for bus, tram, and subway transport workers to strike in various cities across the country on May 2. Workers will stop working for four hours at a time. The timing of the actions will differ by city. In Rome and Lazio, the actions will occur from 08:30-12:30, Naples from 11:00-15:00, and Milan from 08:45-12:45.

Temporary disruptions to services and increased congestion on alternative available forms of public transport are likely at times on May 2.
