Turkiye: Firefighters responding to large structure fire in Narlidere district of Izmir late April 29

Firefighters are responding to a major fireat the Folkart Narlidere luxury apartment complex in Izmir's Narlidere neighborhood late April 29. While the cause of the blaze remains under investigation, authorities believe the fire was the result of an electrical transformer explosion. There have as yet been no reports of casualties; however, an unspecified number of residents reportedly remain trapped in the building.
